Remote Tuning

Remote tuning requires you to have all the appropriate equipment, such as HP Tuners MPVI/2/3/4 or RTD for stock ECU tuning and/or laptop with appropriate software for your device. Remote tuning support currently only covers GM V8 stock ECU tuning via HP Tuners. Or many different engine/trans combos using Haltech, Holley and MaxxECU for standalones. To deliver the best service, I have a modification form for you to fill out and send in with your tune file so that I know exactly what information I need to apply to your calibration to kick off a successful tuning experience!

To start your remote tuning session you will need to send your stock and/or current tune file along with the modification form to Remote@ShorTuning.com Please use this email for all remote tuning correspondence only.

Please download and look at the Pre-Tune Checklist prior to ordering your remote tune.

There is also an option to add a ShorTuning RTD to your order. This is a flash device that we will ship you to use for tuning. This device is yours to keep and comes with the appropriate amount of credits to license the ECM only. Simple setup instructions can be found here: RTD Setup. If you require licensing for separate modules (TCM) you will need to add the appropriate amount of credits to your order. ***This does NOT include any unlock fees for your vehicle. Gen5+ E90/E93 and Global B variants will need to be unlocked prior to tuning. We can unlock the E90/93 early models here in house. The Global B (some 2021-up models and some 2023-up models) require unlock service from HPTuners. 

This service does not give you lifetime support for your vehicle. Once we conclude our tuning and deem the car finished any subsequent adjustments and modifications will be subject to a Remote Refill which can be purchased here: Remote Re-Tuning per 4 Revisions
